Created visualizations for experimental MRI imaging data.
After receiving the raw data from an experimental diffusion tensor MRI, I implemented several voxel imaging analysis techniques in MATLAB. By comparing each voxel’s intensity across multiple directional magnetic fields, the diffusion of water through the brain was mapped into a volume of 3x3 diffusion tensors. This information can then be used to infer neural tube orientation and white-matter connectivity in each region.
