Wrote software for mineral prospecting satellite. Designed, fabricated, and deployed a distributed sensor node platform for agriculture applications.
While at Planetary Resources, Inc., I worked on the Arkyd-6 mineral prospecting satellite. I created ground control and interface software with an emphasis on accident prevention and usability. I also authored firmware for the onboard radio communications and battery management systems. I designed and implemented a development, testing, and debugging toolset for ground and flight software, and authored extensive manual and automatic testing routines. I also built a distributed sensor platform for monitoring key agricultural data, and deployed it in an active corn field.
